From our favorite reads to Pamela’s upcoming races and whatever DIY project Jordyn is planning, we never run short on things to talk about. After years of joking "we should start a podcast," we finally took the leap in 2025!
We've both fallen head-over-heels for the romantasy genre in the last few year. It’s our favorite escape, but we still love diving into books of all genres.
Hi! I’m Jordyn
Hello!Welcome! I’m Jordyn: mother of two, medical mama, weekend DIY-er, and book escapist.
In 2023, after my son was born, I fully took the leap into the romantasy genre with Rebecca Yarros’ Fourth Wing and Iron Flame. They became my constant companions during those sleep-deprived newborn days. After listening to the audiobooks twice, Throne of Glass was recommended to me and the rest is history.
Suddenly, I was devouring books left and right. The only problem? I was going through them so fast that I didn’t really have anyone to talk to about them.
That is, until one morning when Pamela and I were in the office together and started chatting about what we were reading. We quickly realized we were both obsessing over romantasy and flying through books at lightning speed! From then on, anytime we were together, we naturally fell into conversation about our books. We joked constantly about starting a podcast.
It’s been so much fun creating this with her and I hope you feel like you’re right in the studio with us!
